Björn Ström joins Ombori as Chief Experience Officer

Ombori is delighted to announce that retail experience expert Björn Ström is taking the role of Chief Experience Officer. He has been involved with the company for some time. In his previous position as Retail Experience Specialist at Visual Art in Stockholm, he worked on some of Ombori’s pioneering technology, including the original design for the Smart Mirror that was launched in H&M’s flagship store at Times Square, NYC. He joined Ombori full-time in August, and now plays a key role in the design of retail technology being deployed in stores around the world.
“Björn is kind of a legend,” says Ombori CEO Andreas Hassellöf. “He’s had an incredible amount of experience in both the creative and retail industries, with an amazing career as a musician and composer before he turned to reinventing the whole concept of what retail should be. Working with him has really galvanized the team into creating installations that are even more technologically innovative and stylish than before.”
