Virtual Queues

Manage customer flows and minimize physical queues

Stores and other Physical locations need to keep operating throughout the global pandemic.

Reducing the risk of infection and staying compliant with maximum occupancy rules are a requirement to operate.

Virtual Queues monitors occupancy and promotes social distancing by allowing customers to wait where they want, and get notified when they should approach the entrance.

  1. Employee can login to a personal device with a pin and manage the flow of the customers
  2. Employee keeps track of people entering and exiting the store, manually calling people in by sending out a push notification to their device
  3. Easy deployment – the QR code to enter the queue can be printed out on a piece of paper, no additional hardware necessary

Virtual queue & people counter & signage

The Queue can be used as a semi-automatic solution with an employee manage the queue only when the store is at capacity, and when it’s below max capacity the Digital Signage will display how many people are in the store. Automated People Counting: An overhead sensor captures customers entering and leaving the store. This integrates with our queue system to automate the check-in and out process.

Digital Signage: Increase transparency to show by passers how many people are inside the store. It enables the customers to track the queue services on a screen visible in the queue.

Virtual Queue & signage & people counter & automatic gates

The total automatic solution is also built on top of Ombori’s successful Grid in-store technology platform, and with the gates, people counting sensor and digital signage there is no need for an employee to manage the queue.

Automatic Gates: With Automatic gates the solution can be fully automatic. Gates will stay close if max occupancy is reached. They can also be connected to the virtual ticket, opening when the correct ticket is scanned.
